Our Mission
The Bread Basket is committed to providing dignified, choice-based access to fresh food and clothing for residents of Dodge and Jefferson counties experiencing food insecurity. We operate as a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit with no government funding, relying entirely on community support, local farmers, and generous donors.
Our model is simple: guests walk through our doors and select what they need for the week, just like a grocery store. We require no paperwork, no income guidelines, and no questions asked. Dignity, respect, and community are at the heart of everything we do.
